Terms of service
The terms that govern use of GroundWorx hardware, the GAIN platform, and related services.
Agreement
By purchasing, installing, or using GroundWorx hardware and software, you agree to the terms of your signed service agreement with GroundWorx together with the terms published here. Where a signed agreement and these terms differ, the signed agreement controls.
Service
GroundWorx provides soil and environmental sensing hardware and access to the GAIN platform for the term and at the service levels described in your agreement. Connectivity is provided through cellular carrier partners and is subject to coverage in your area.
Intellectual property
GroundWorx retains all rights in its hardware designs, firmware, software, models, and documentation. Nothing in a purchase or subscription transfers ownership of that intellectual property.
Your data
You own the measurements taken on your property. GroundWorx processes that data to deliver the service and may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve accuracy and models across the platform.
Warranty and liability
Hardware warranty terms, replacement policy, and liability limits are set out in your service agreement. Contact us for the current terms that apply to your account.
